SharePoint Hackathon kicks off this week!

Another week. Another chance to dominate work and push yourself to something greater. Will you take up the challenge?
I’ve decided to become a Microsoft Certified Trainer, and the payoffs will be huge for me with my YouTube channel, my online courses, and my future as a trainer. I’m really excited and will be happy to add another great achievement to my resume!
In other news, the SharePoint Hackathon competition begins this week, and there’ll be several categories, and REALLY good prizes. Regardless of whether you win or lose, it’s a great way to show off something cool and increase your visibility within the Microsoft community. I’ll be participating. Will you?

ROADMAP
Microsoft 365 admin center: Usage reports - SharePoint Quota Consumption and recommendations
This feature allows organizations to monitor Microsoft 365 SharePoint Quota Consumption and their usage growth over time. It enhances the report by providing single pane access to the above metrics along with recommendations to storage decluttering and storage optimization. This begins rolling out this month! SharePoint: Restricted Access Control Enhancements
This update adds Entra ID security groups to the list of group types that you can use to restrict access to individual SharePoint sites via this SharePoint Advanced Management feature. This overrides any sharing that has already been applied by the site owner or members (so it’s an additional security check, in other words). This update will be in preview in April, with a rollout starting in April as well. Link to roadmap
