Microsoft Just Keeps Rolling Out New Features!

The end of the year is approaching so fast, right?? It’s been a very busy year for SharePoint, and many announcements have spilled over into next year. We’ll see flexible layout sections rolling in in a few months, which will change everything about how we design SharePoint pages. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

SharePoint Premium and SharePoint Advanced Management have also seen a lot of features this year, and SAM (SharePoint Advanced Management) finally got the attention it deserves at Ignite when it was included in M365 Copilot licensing (coming in January). What a year 2024 has been!

As I think about how far everything has come since the beginning of the year, I think about how much I’ve grown professionally, the skills I’ve learned, and the hurdles I overcame. I hope you feel the same. I honestly do. Life is incredibly busy in the world of tech, and staying ahead of others seems to be the key to success. It’s certainly how I’ve achieved success, anyways. If you’re feeling stagnant in your career, skill up and push yourself to the next level (or even promotion!). Taking that leap, as scary as it seems, will often times show you that you’re capable of much more than you give yourself credit for. I know it showed me that many times this year alone, and I’m got no intention of stopping.
