It's rolling out! Time to check your tenants...

It's been a long wait since it was announced

After a long, long wait, Copilot for SharePoint is FINALLY rolling out, at least that’s what the roadmap item shows as of today. Expect content as soon as I see this in my tenant, because this is going to be very good for content authors and admins building out sites.

School is back in session for some, and others are about to start back. I, for one, look forward to a quieter house during the week! Hopefully the additional focus gives us all a bit more inspiration to create awesome things in SharePoint!

I’ve created a guide on SharePoint taxonomy using the term store. Check it out if you’re interested. For being a reader, get 25% off this already cheap ($9) guide using the code BACk2SCHOOL. This coupon expires on 8/14, so jump on this if you’re not that familiar with the SharePoint term store and best practices.

Make sure to forward this email to a friend who needs to stay up to date as well!

ROADMAP
SharePoint: Microsoft Lists - Schedule turning on and off responses to forms

For the new forms integration with Lists, you’ll be able to enable and disable new responses. Very cool feature! This will begin rolling out in September. Link to roadmap

SharePoint: Microsoft Lists - Add attachments to forms

Another feature for Lists forms will let you attach a file to provide additional context (or instructions) to help users complete the form with correct information. Look for this feature to begin rolling out in November. Link to roadmap

SharePoint: Microsoft Lists - Conditional branching in Microsoft Lists forms

Probably the biggest feature this week, conditional logic will let you add branching to your forms. This will let you create more complex forms, which have historically been pretty basic. This will begin rolling out in November. Link to roadmap

SharePoint: New Content AI Rules in SharePoint to set sensitivity labels and retention policy

Using AI-based rules to auto apply compliance policies and labels to content in SharePoint. This looks very promising, and possibly easier to use than the Compliance Center. This will start rolling out in September. Link to roadmap
