Could this be the week when it launches?

In partnership with

We’re nearing the end of October. A highly anticipated feature is still slated to be released this month, as you’ll see below. Copilot agents for SharePoint could change a LOT about how users find and consume content in your environment. What does this mean for keyword-based searches? I’m still thinking about this as someone who’s heavily invested in SharePoint search and Microsoft search. I don’t think it’ll change much, but maybe I’m just optimistic?

In other news, we’re getting closer to the Microsoft Ignite conference as well, and I know there’s going to be some BIG surprises in store for us. I’m expecting to see a lot more news about the flexible layout sections that got announced earlier this year. This will change everything about how you build pages in SharePoint, in a good way! More options will accompany that, I’m sure, and I don’t think Microsoft is done by any means when it comes to page customization. Stay tuned because I’ll cover everything for you across my social channels.

If you’re using the new Brand Center, you’ll soon be able to further enhance your branding by hiding the default (from Microsoft) font packages, and instead make sure your users are choosing the fonts your organization prefers. This is rolling out in November 2024. Link to roadmap

SharePoint: Copilot agents in SharePoint

What used to be called Click to Copilot is now called Copilot agents for SharePoint. This is the same feature you’ve seen me cover in a video or two, and this is rolling out this month! Considering we’re near the end of the month, any day it will begin rolling out. Link to roadmap
